The firm is proud to announce that Governor Laura Kelly’s judicial nominating committee has selected Sarah Warner as one of three finalists for the next judge of the Kansas Court of Appeals. Governor Kelly has until March 15—60 days from the retirement of Hon. Patrick McAnany—to make her appointment, subject to confirmation by the Kansas Senate.
Sarah has litigated numerous appeals in her years at Thompson Warner on topics such as real estate development, insurance contracts, class actions, child custody, and constitutional claims. She also teaches Appellate Practice at Washburn University School of Law and consults with area attorneys concerning appeals before the Kansas and federal appellate courts.
